Voms 1.2 on Beta Testing

Voms 1.2 is currently undergoing beta testing to be launched on March 2008. This testing process is hoped to be done so Voms can be launched to the market.

Voms is a IP-based Call Center application that uses the IP PBX software Asterisk. Currently, Voms 1.2 have many of the capabilities for enterprise-grade call center. The easy customization process and the extensive use of plugins enabled the various advantages that exists in the application.

Based on the development plan, future versions of Voms will have the ability for clustering and high-availability and also supports single interface administration. These capabilities will make Voms the administrative center of a company's call center operations.

PT Midas Solusi Utama's IT Marketing Manager, Feby Yanviery, says that the large market for call center and IP-based telephony system in the future was the reasoning for the development of call center applications in PT Midas Solusi Utama. Voms is hoped to be an enterprise-ready software with a price structure that is competitive for this domestic market.
