HROne Application Development

Monday, 23 July 2007 HR department is responsible for managing company rules and procedures and also managing information related to company employees including employee personal data, payroll, performance and new employee applications.

In general HR Department's tasks can be categorized into two:

Administrative

All tasks related to administration:

  • Employee Payroll Slip
  • Leave Form
  • Payroll calculation
  • Managing Employee Overtime
  • Employee database

Strategic

All tasks that help company improve employee performance:

  • Managing Training
  • Managing placement based on competence & skillset
  • Payroll strategy

 

MSU continuously develop its HR application called HROne to support company requirements by upgrading version from previous version of HROne.

HROne offers integrated management solution to handle human resource information, rules and procedures. Its modularity allows HROne to be designed based on company's requirements.

HROne is developed using PHP language and javascript as a basis that adopts new IT technologies such as Ajax, etc. HROne is a web-based application which utilize MySQL database system which have the flexibility to be implemented using other types of database system.

HROne modules are divided as follow:

Employee Data Menu, consists of personal data for every employees, which can be added, edited, deleted to allow continuous update in employee personal data. Detailed Employee Menu can be defined based on company requirements. Some generic data provided in HROne are:
